As well as the Bridge and the PLC , there are other places available round school where you can go and get help and support
The LRC
This is where the library and computers are you can go at break and lunch to complete work or read or after school to get support with homework
Student information desk (SID)
This is where you go if you are ill, need support, or need to hand letters in.

Common scenarios
Speak to a member of staff that can help you for example your VMG tutor or Mrs Bellwood in the bridge. You could write your timetable out in a way you understand
Go to the LRC at break, lunch or after school. Mrs Walsh will be able to help you plan your time and complete the work.
Go straight to SID, the staff will help you find your way. Link up with someone in your group who can help you get to your next lesson.
Remember other students will be in the position as you. Start talking to students in you classes and VMG. You could join an enrichment after school to get to know other students
Speak to SID at break to see if they can ring home ask for someone to bring it in. If not school has kit that can be borrowed. All borrowed kit is washed as soon as it has been used so you know it is clean
Explain to your teacher what has happened. Do the classwork on paper and then stick it in or copy it up when you get home.
Speak to your teacher. School has spare ingredients so it will be ok
Go to SID at break to see if they can contact home and ask someone to bring it in. If not explain to your teacher and bring it in the next day.
